1 · Who we are

BHI — Business Horizons Intelligence LLC, headquartered in Dover, Delaware (USA), also operates in Quebec through its Odoo integration and automation services. We are the controller of the personal information you entrust to us via this website and our services.

2 · Data we collect

Data you provide

  • Full name, email, phone number, company name, message — via the contact form.
  • Your business accounting and operational data when you engage us for an Odoo integration.

Data collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on page, referrer source (site analytics).
  • Language preferences (stored locally in your browser).

3 · How we use your data

  • Respond to your inquiries and deliver our services.
  • Configure, automate, and maintain your Odoo instance.
  • Communicate with you about your project (email, phone).
  • Improve our website and services (aggregated analytics).
  • Meet our legal and contractual obligations.

We do not use your data to train AI models. Anthropic, the provider of Claude, contractually guarantees that your data is not used to train its models.

4 · Sharing with third parties

Your data is never sold. We share it only with:

  • Odoo SA (Belgium) — for hosting and operating your ERP instance. Data hosted in Canada when possible.
  • Anthropic PBC (USA) — for Claude API calls. Data encrypted in transit, not retained for training.
  • Formspree — for transmitting contact form submissions.
  • Legal authorities — only when legally required.

5 · Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or to comply with our legal obligations. Contact form submissions are kept for a maximum of 24 months after the last interaction.

6 · Your rights (Law 25, Quebec)

Under Quebec's Law 25, you have the following rights:

  • Access — obtain a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
  • Withdrawal of consent — at any time, for any processing based on consent.

To exercise a right, email contact@b-h-i.net. We respond within 30 days.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

7 · Security

  • Data encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
  • North American hosting, with preference for Canadian data centers when available.
  • Restricted access to authorized personnel, with access logging.
  • Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) available on request for clients.

In the event of a privacy incident, we will notify you promptly in accordance with Law 25.

8 · Cookies

Our site only uses minimal local storage to remember your language preference (FR/EN). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
